Why we put the flag on your wrist
Every four years the world stops and picks a side. Streets fill with colour, strangers become family for ninety minutes, and a flag stops being a piece of cloth on a pole and becomes something you wear. That's the feeling we set out to capture.
Small object, big allegiance
Your Whoop already goes everywhere you do — to the gym, to bed, to the match. We thought the one thing tracking your every heartbeat during a penalty shootout should also show whose heart it's beating for.
So we took the colours, the crests and the quiet design language of the nations football loves, and we engineered them into a band that survives a tournament's worth of celebration.
Designed in Bergen, tested everywhere
Each band is refined over dozens of prototypes until the fit disappears on the wrist and the only thing anyone notices is the flag. We obsess over the clasp, the weave and the way a colour holds up after a hundred washes — because a band you take off is a band that failed.
This is the first of many stories from the studio. Pick your nation, pick your tier, and wear your colours where it counts.
